The conference programme is split into two days. Day 1 will focus on:
During day 2, experts on FP7 Calls will facilitate consultation sessions for new project ideas and/or already initiated proposals addressing manufacturing topics described in the latest NMP and ICT calls. The experts will also give general guidelines for writing successful proposals.
Day 2 will also provide information regarding the Technology Strategy Board's High Value Manufacturing call: A step change in competitiveness.

During day 2, experts on FP7 Calls including EC officials will facilitate two parallel sessions focusing on manufacturing topics described in the latest NMP and ICT Calls (published at the end of November 2008).
Participants interested in presenting already initiated proposals or new project ideas during the sessions are requested to prepare 3-4 PowerPoint slides per each idea/proposal briefly describing the following:
Each presenter will have 5-7 minutes to explain their proposal/project idea(s) including questions and answers. Potential partners can express their interest during the discussions or by directly contacting the proposals/ideas leaders.
During the sessions, the experts will give advice on how to address the respective Calls' objectives in these proposals/ideas and provide hints to help increase their chances of success. In addition, they will provide general guidelines that will help interested researchers to write successful proposals in response to the current FP7 Calls. The day will be concluded by a wrap-up session where participants can ask the experts specific questions related to their topics of interest. EC officials will be present in the sessions to answer questions related to meeting the specific objectives/requirements of the topics addressed in the Calls.
To have their initiated proposals/project idea(s) included in the programme, interested participants are requested to send their presentations by email to the Conference Organising Committee by no later than 9 January 2009.
